Another thing I’m very good at doing is massaging the muscles on the pelvic floor. I am skilled at getting at these hard-to-reach places without touching the anus or genitals. This is an area most massage therapists shy away from, especially at spas, but these are muscles that need attention, especially if you’re an athlete.
Ever notice how good it feels when the doctor taps on different places on your back? I do this as well (but better). It’s called tapotement – rapid tapping or striking the body. It feels great!
