The Temperature of the Massage Room

I keep the temperature at 72 or 73. If you would prefer the room to be warmer, I could go up to 74. Any warmer would not be good as I run too great a risk of sweating on the client. I run very hot. In fact, I am known for having exceptionally warm hands which makes them perfect for massage. I also start off my massages with hot towels on the back, so most people feel warm enough during my massages. It’s not for everyone though. Some people are more comfortable in very high temperatures, like 77 or 78. That is one of the reasons why I quit working at spas. They keep the temperature so high that I was unfortunately sweating on clients. On the other hand, I have some clients who like it on the cool side, which is perfect for me. I do try to be flexible when I need to be, but thankfully the temperature of the room is rarely an issue.
